Abstract
Taking cues from Chapter 2, this chapter lists the endogenic and other causes that might have contributed to the inferred sea level fluctuations. Excerpts from selected case studies are also added to enhance the understanding of the reader. Three major sections are devoted to examine the applicability and relative contribution of eustasy under enhanced greenhouse conditions, limno-eustacy and the effects of thermal expansion, over inferred sea level fluctuations and perturbations.
