Abstract

In this chapter, we review the anatomy of the paraclinoid segment of the Internal Carotid Artery (ICA) and classifications for aneurysms in this segment. Endovascular treatment options and techniques are then discussed along with their outcomes. Finally, the relevant surgical anatomy and open microsurgical management options are then reviewed along with hybrid approaches.
