This chapter is an essay of hope for tree kangaroos and for the planet. The essay focuses on the power of youth globally to help make positive changes in the world. Dr. Lisa Dabek, Director of the Tree Kangaroo Conservation Program in Papua New Guinea (PNG) develops connections between Mrs. Camille Bell's fifth grade class at Spessard Holland Elementary School in Satellite Beach, FL and the children of YUS in Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea through the book Quest for the Tree Kangaroo, and through a common concern for the conservation of the endangered Matschie's tree kangaroo endemic to the Huon Peninsula in PNG.
