Abstract
This chapter aims to explore drug (medication) safety in China, identify the challenges, and suggest recommendations to overcome the identified challenges in order to improve the medication safety practice in China. Despite the great efforts by the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) to improve medication safety practices in China, there are many challenges in China related to the system, education, knowledge, training, research, counterfeit medications, self-medication, and other safety issues. A long-term plan should be implemented by CFDA and other policy makers to improve drug safety practices in China.
