Abstract

Within the Autism Partnership Method, the goal for all individuals is to reach their fullest potential. To make this goal a reality, it commonly requires comprehensive intervention that targets the development of functional, applied, and meaningful skills. Part of a comprehensive curriculum is teaching self-help and adaptive skills. In this chapter, we provide a brief overview of different self-help and adaptive skills that should be part of comprehensive programming.
