Abstract

Don't be too narrow in the types of writing jobs you are willing to consider. One of the basic premises of this book is that a strong writer should be able to write for all types of interactive media (with the proper training, of course). Don't just focus on the most obvious types of writing, such as computer games or web sites. There are many other types of programs being created in interactive media, such as e-learning, training, and museum and theme park exhibits. Each of these categories represents multibillion dollar industries that do exciting work.
