Various existing plants different from the classical Pressurized Water Reactors (PWRs) are here described and briefly discussed: Boiling Water Reactors, Pressure tube Reactors, Gas Reactors, Research Reactors, Sodium Cooled Fast Reactors, Generation III/III+ Reactors, some Generation IV Reactors, Fuel Plants, Nuclear Seawater Desalination Plants, VVER (Acronym for the Russian “Energetic Reactor Water-Water”), Ship Propulsion Reactors, Radioactive Sources.”
