Abstract

Nomothetic terrorist profiling models are too often based on oversimplified and uninformed prejudices, not actual insight into criminal behavior. In fact, we know this problem all too well, which is why racial profiling was on track to be eradicated in the United States only a decade ago. However, racial profiling gained new life with the terrorist attacks organized against the United States on September 11, 2001, as previously mentioned in this text.
