Abstract
How well can force fields tackle lattice dynamics in zeolites? An analysis and historical perspective on different force fields for zeolites is presented. As a second issue, the state of the art regarding diffusion of hydrocarbons in zeolites is presented, with emphasis on molecular dynamics, confinement effects, entropic contributions, and computational aspects.
