Abstract

Metal-based conductive nano-inks composed of nanometer-sized metallic particles with high electrical conductivity (Ag and Cu) suspended in a polymer have revolutionized the field of printed electronics. This chapter provides an overview of the state of research in synthesis and characterization techniques for metallic nano-inks and their associated challenges. The end of the chapter also discusses future perspectives in this field from the industrial and academic viewpoints.
