Abstract

Security’s Role in Corporate Social Responsibility answers the question “How do I get a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program up and running smoothly?” As more and more companies develop these kinds of programs, security will find that it is asked to enable them. In addition to the satisfaction of doing something good for the community, a CSR program also adds real value to the organization. In this chapter, the process of developing a CSR program is compared to that of a new risk management program.
