Abstract
In this chapter we look at pipe sizing and pressure drop calculations. The theory behind flow in pipes both laminar and turbulent is addressed, along with pressure drop in pipes. Flow of fluids through valves and fittings and pipe is examined and formulas and nomographs are shown. The end of the chapter looks at examples of flow problems and an appendix of calculation sheets.
