Abstract
This chapter covers both atmospheric and pressurized storage tanks, as well as LNG tanks. It covers the codes and regulations required in the design of these tanks. The types of tanks, as well as their sizing are discussed along with details of their construction. Spill containment for these tanks and the design of berms is explained and how to calculate the berm containment area. Tank heaters and relief vents along with tank piping is explained along with piping examples.
