Abstract
From the immune reaction cascade explained with the nonscientist reader in mind to illustrate existing and eventually unexplored therapeutic options at multiple levels of the immune reaction, the therapeutic potential of dendritic cells will be explored in oncology via a description of their basic biological attributes and the latest advances achieved in developing novel therapies based on these cells, either minimally manipulated or engineered.
