Abstract

The self-assembly driven by formation of coordination complexes remains an effective tool for synthesis of shape and sizes selective supramolecular architectures. The applications of finite supramolecular coordination complexes for the detection of alkali metal and transition metal ions through different types of covalent and non-covalent interactions.
