Abstract

This chapter deals with understanding the nutrition policy process in which multiple actors and players operate from the global to local levels, and they come from several related sectors. This chapter highlights the challenges of getting the evidence in the hands of policy makers, and the process of policy making, adoption, implementation, and revision. It synthesizes the nutrition challenges of the global communities in the context of applications of the methods demonstrated in the chapters of this book, and also highlights the challenges of communicating nutrition policy and programs.
