Abstract

When performing diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the breast, there are several important components that determine the quality of the outcome: system calibration, acquisition and reconstruction, and postprocessing of MR images that have been acquired with diffusion encoding. In this chapter, we provide guidance for obtaining breast diffusion-weighted (DW) images with Philips equipment and for processing of data for evaluation with different diffusion models.
