Abstract

Any unfavorable condition or chemical that impacts a plant's metabolism and hence its growth and development process is referred to as stress. Abiotic stress and biotic stress are the two types of environmental stress that can occur. Plants are subjected to biotic and abiotic stress, which results in considerable economic losses in agriculture by reducing crop yield and quality. Abiotic and biotic stresses have both been linked to massive economic losses throughout the world. Thus, microbial technology has made significant progress in crop improvement research.
