Abstract

Posttranslational modifications of proteins by means of phosphorylation, sulfation or glycosylation endow the affected proteins with distinctive physiological and biochemical functions and/or reinforcement of certain significant protein conformation. Principally these protein modifications could be realized by chemical derivatization on target functional groups.
