Abstract
Worldwide, regulation and registration of (agro)chemicals is a very complex process, which presumes profound knowledge of different requirements in different countries. Beside specific requirements for registration of pesticides and bulk chemicals, requested by regulatory authorities, the scope of mandatory toxicity and ecotoxicity studies will be discussed.
