Abstract
The last chapter considers the role of the partial oxidation of light alkanes as a basis for the most important gas-chemical processes, such as the oxidative conversion of methane to syngas, oxidative coupling of methane, selective oxycracking of heavier components of natural gas. A general concept of the modern low-scale gas chemistry is discussed.
