Abstract
The development of any technology involves design and testing processes. It is usual to simulate the performance of solar receivers and to use simulation results in building prototypes. New receivers must be tested to establish their actual performance. In this context, selected standard methods for testing of solar collection systems and the progress in the development of solar receivers are presented and discussed in this chapter.
