Abstract

How might we think about the relationship between imagination and creativity in the context of classroom learning? This chapter addresses this question by discussing a model of classroom learning that combines both imaginative processes and creative outcomes. More specifically, this chapter will highlight key similarities and differences between imaginative processes and creativity outcomes and discuss the role that both play in academic learning. Implications for theory and research will also be discussed.
