Abstract

In Chapter 10, Big Evolutionary Mechanisms of Network Robustness and Signaling Transductivity in Aging and Carcinogenic Process by System Modeling and Database Mining, we measured the evolution of network robustness and network transductivity in aging and carcinogenesis processes. As aging is an extremely complex and system-level process, based on the network robustness and transductivity in Chapter 10, Big Evolutionary Mechanisms of Network Robustness and Signaling Transductivity in Aging and Carcinogenic Process by System Modeling and Database Mining, we provide insight into the Big Mechanisms of aging based on system identification and big database mining through high-throughput data. We first analyze the network robustness determine the tolerance of genetic mutations in somatic cells and network response ability to resist environmental stimuli in the aging process. Particularly, we investigate the ability of significant genes to respond to environmental stimuli based on changes in their response ability during the aging process. Next, we investigate the Big Cellular Mechanisms of human aging based on the integrated genetic and epigenetic networks of the young and elderly as well as male and female via next generation sequencing data and big database mining methods. Finally, we find core proteins, transcription factors, target genes, and microRNAs of aging to develop new antiaging drugs for therapy.
