Abstract
This chapter highlights the coagulation process for removing arsenic from contaminated water. First, the characteristics of arsenic appeared in water, and the toxicity of arsenic in drinking water were briefly described. Then, the coagulation process for arsenic removal from water was given in detail, including the conventional coagulation process and the enhanced coagulation process. Next, the mechanisms and important factors of the coagulation process were summarized. Finally, some applications of the coagulation process for arsenic removal from water were illustrated.
