Abstract
Both 1,2,4- and 1,2,3-triazoles have shown a broad spectrum of their applications in a range of scientific disciplines including material sciences. Recent advances in their synthetic methodologies have prompted their usage in solar cells, supercapacitors, bipolar materials, heat resistance materials, and green explosives. Some updated and noteworthy examples of functional materials are presented here that were synthesized using 1,2,4- as well as 1,2,3-triazoles as functional cores.
