Abstract
Many optimization problems have polynomial matrix inequality constraints. This chapter introduces the topics of psd matrix polynomials, matrix Positivstellensätze, matrix-valued moment problems, polynomial matrix inequality constrained optimization, matrix convexity, and certificates for containments of projections of semialgebraic sets given by polynomial matrix inequalities.
