Abstract
Formation of 3BS paste. Depending on the phase and chemical compositions of the cured paste, the formation process can be divided in two stages: first stage: PbO and basic lead sulfates are oxidized to α-PbO2; the plate potential is low; second stage: PbSO4 is oxidized to β-PbO2; the plate potential under load is high.
