Abstract
This paper analyses chaotic phenomenon in permanent-magnet synchronous machine(PMSM) based on power spectrum and Poincare section. In addition, two chaotic control methods are proposed, which are negative feedback control method and additional periodic signal control method. According to simulation results in Matlab, both of methods are effective. Finally, we discuss their differences. The negative feedback control method cannot only control the original chaotic system to period orbit, but also makes the system at an equilibrium point. The advantage of the additional periodic signal control method is that dynamic properties of the system is not required to identify in advance.
