Abstract
The purpose of this article is to show the origins of a particular motorcycle, the history of that machine and how its identity can be changed. Customization techniques and rationale will be covered along with personal photographs and experience in the field of customization and restoration. The paper reflects upon the personal satisfaction and achievement that comes from the successful completion of a challenging motorcycle restoration project.
