Abstract

Heart Failure (HF) accounts for a large number of hospitalization and contributes significantly to mortality. 348 cases of HF patients admitted to our the hospital from April 2009 to March 2013. We examined the effect factors and changes in hospital mortality using the DPC analysis software EVE. (1) In-hospital mortality rate was improved from 14.4% to 9.3%. (2) Changes in the treatment of heart failure drug usage: <Injection drugs> cardiotonic/diuretic decreased and carperitide increased. <Oral medicine> ACEI/ARB and beta-blockers increased slightly. Oral inotropic agents decreased.
