Abstract

Subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (S-ICDs) may change orientation or migrate over time, leading to changes in sensing vectors and inappropriate shocks (IAS). Current literature has reported S-ICD vector changes in more than one-third of S-ICD patients during follow-up. Conversely, serial electrogram (EGM) changes in implantable cardiac monitors have demonstrated maturation of the electrical signal over time. OBJECTIVE: Interrogation reports for S-ICD patients were evaluated for EGM changes over time.
