Abstract

Objective To study the changes and clinical significance of serum 25 hydroxy vitamin D and CRP in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy. Methods Ninety patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy were divided into three groups according to urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER):normal albuminuria group, micro albuminuria group and macro albuminuria group. The serum 25 hydroxy Vitamin D3 and CRP levels were measured by ELISA method, and the blood glucose, blood lipid and blood phosphorus and other indicators were measured at the same time. Results ①Serum 25 hydroxy Vitamin D3 slowly decreased in all patients, but the difference among the three groups had statistical significance (P < 0.05).②The levels of CRP were increased in all patients, but the increase in different degree, and the difference among the three groups had statistically significant (P < 0.05).③There was negative correlation of serum 25 hydroxy Vitamin D3 with serum CRP (P < 0.05).Conclusions The level of serum 25 hydroxy Vitamin D3 may be associated with type 2 diabetes, can inhibit the inflammatory marker CRP protection on the kidney. Key words: Type 2 diabetes; Serum 25 hydroxy Vitamin D; C-reactive protein
