Abstract

Polyaniline/graphite composites (PANi/G) with different graphite particle sizes were deposited on a platinum electrode by means of cyclic voltammetry. The surface morphology of PANi/G composites were studied by using the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the fractal dimension concept. This work presents the utilization of the cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy to determine the fractal dimension. The results obtained from both these methods are in good agreement indicating the reliability of the estimated fractal dimension ( D f).
