Abstract

A federal trial court in Texas has dismissed an orthodontist's antitrust lawsuit which claimed that a professional association's enforcement of its advertising rules disrupted his relationship with a distributor of an orthodontic product invented by the dentist. 1 Viazis vs. American Association of Orthodontists, No. 4:98CV245 (E.D. Tex. Sept. 24, 2001). Google Scholar The orthodontist is appealing this ruling to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
