Abstract
The evaluation of children bronchial asthma (asthma) who were under 5 years old was complicated by the lack of objective lung function measurements and definitive biomarkers.The diagnosis was most often based on symptom patterns,presence of risk factors,and therapeutic responses.Inhaled corticosteroids and leukotriene modifiers were recommended as long-term treatment drugs for children with asthma who were under 5 years old in series guides.But sometimes these therapies could not obtain satisfactory results.When we selected an appropriate treatment strategies for children with asthma who were under 5 years old in clinical practice,the following factors should be considered:the disease severity,whether intermittent wheezing or persistent wheezing and whether asthma predict index was positive.
