Performance + InstructionVolume 32, Issue 3 p. 24-28 Article Certification in interior design: The NCIDQ examination—Part III Bute Harwood, Bute Harwood Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts, 325 Harrison Street, Richmond, VA 23284-2519 Buie Harwood is Professor of Interior Design at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She has been a member of the Board for NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) and a leading exponent of the effort to make the NCIDQ examination a model for certification of professionals in interior design. She is a leader of the Task Force designed to develop the current NCIDQ certification examination.
