Abstract
The problem of reconciling the interests of the individual and society is a traditional area of study in the social sciences. Current theoretical efforts in this area are focused primarily on problems that are of fundamental significance in improving developed socialist society in all respects. Understandably, at both the theoretical and the practical level, harmonizing the interests and activity of the individual with society's expectations, as one of the most important social conditions to the successful functioning of our society, is not an automatic process, but needs to be scientifically controlled.
