Abstract

Legionnaires’ disease can appear with different levels of severity. A case of a previously healthy lady with communityacquired pneumonia who progressed to severe acute respiratory distress syndrome and developed cerebellar dysfunction is reported. In patients presenting with neurological symptoms after an episode of pneumonia, Legionella infection should be considered. J Microbiol Infect Dis 2013; 3(2): 83-85
