Centralization of Decision Making and Selected Characteristics of Superintendents of Schools

Abstract

Using the Getzels-Guba social systems construct, the authors of the following study sought to test the relationship between personal char acteristics of superintendents and centralization of decision-making. Although no significant relationships were found, the authors believe future studies may bring more conclusive results.
