Abstract

The paper deals with supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) in ultra-high performance concrete and their influence on basic material characteristics. The supplementary materials were silica fume, fly-ash and metakaolin with dosage 10%, 20% and 30% of binder. The UHPC in concern is exceptional in use of aggregate with grains up to 16 mm in the mixture. The properties of hardened concrete were measured on cubes with size 100 mm and prism specimens 100×100×400 mm in age 28 days. The density, compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete with SCM were compared with reference concrete without supplementary materials.
