AbstractProperty, Real Estate & Development (MIC: 8.3 SIC: 6798 NAIC: 525930)CBL & Associates Properties is a self‐managed, self‐administered, fully‐integrated real estate investment trust that is engaged in the ownership, development, acquisition, leasing, management and operation of regional shopping malls and community centers. Co.'s shopping center properties are located mostly in the southeast and midwest, as well as in select markets in other regions of the U.S. As of Dec 31 2005, Co. owned controlling interests in 77 regional malls; 30 associated centers, each adjacent to a regional shopping mall; seven community centers and its corporate office building.
