Abstract
One of the most serious social problems in modern society is still the abuse of minors. In the article, the author analyzes the causes and problems of preventing crimes against minors. In Russian society, there is an increase in impoverishment, alcoholism and drug addiction among the population, a high level of maternal deprivation and, as a result, an increase in social orphanhood, the number of crimes committed against minors, crimes committed with the involvement of minors, as well as the commission of crimes by minors. The author proposes to establish at the legislative level the guarantees of the child to be protected from all forms of violence.
