Abstract
Abstract During early spring 1979, 10 head of cattle, having 2 good ear tags per head, were selected from a herd that was tagged with 2 Ectrin ear tags early in May 1978. These cattle were moved to a separate pasture area and were observed for horn flies during the summer months of 1980. Another herd of 50 cows tagged with two 8% Ectrin ear tags per head in 1979 was also observed for horn fly control during the summer of 1980.
