Abstract
Abstract 32% crufomate (Dow Chemical TF302) pour-on was applied on Oct 2277 to Hereford cattle at the University of Wyoming Agriculture Substation, Gillette, Wyoming. Twenty-five mature cows, 17 yearling heifers, and 9 heifer calves were treated at application rates of: 1.0oz/170-250 lb, 1.5 oz/251-350 lb, 2.0 oz/351-450 lb, 2.5 oz/451-550 oz, 3.0 oz/551-750 lb, or 4.0 o;:/751 lb or more. Five cows, 5 yearling heifers, and 9 heifer calves from the same herd were left untreated. Grub numbers were determined by palpation on Feb 3’77andapr 22’77.
