Abstract
The mineralogical museum of the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg includes a collection of about 480 samples from 279 meteorites and 6 tektites. The present catalogue is based on the classification of J.T. Wasson. The first part gives a brief account on nomenclature and classification principles of meteorites. The second part gives the alphabetical list of the meteorites present in this collection with a short description, their classification, number and mass of the specimens. The third part is an index in which the meteorites are ordered according to their chemical group and petrologic type.
