Abstract

In Indian literature, the caste issue has been reflected in the composition of the artist in various aspects. Prem Chand's Godan and Thakagi sivasakara Pillai’s Shrimp season reflect the social reality of India in the early twentieth century with the religious rules, the caste system, the traditional conception that makes the workers suffer more and more misery and injustice.
