Abstract
Castasterone and brassinolide have been identified from seeds of Raphanus sativus by GC-MS analysis. Comparative quantification experiments with seeds and germinated seeds carried out by GC-SIM indicated a remarkable difference in the ratio of brassinosteroids in favour of the formation of brassinolide during germination.
