Abstract

Non-erosive polyarthritis is one of the most common clinical manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). SLE has not been well documented and is rarely diagnosed in cats. This article describes an unusual presentation of erosive polyarthritis with SLE in three cats restrospectively identified over a 14-year period. Historical, clinical, serological and radiographical and pathological aspects of these cases are discussed.
