The purpose of this paper is to review the current status (to January, 1956) of 163 of these patients, who have adequate records available, in order to determine the following:1. The incidence of the disease in a 3,600 bed hospital before and after the frequent use of the L.E. cell test.2. The course of the disease with particular reference to spontaneous remissions.3. The value of a battery of different types of L.E. cell tests.4....Bibliography1. HargravesRichmondMorton MMHR: Presentation of two bone marrow elements: the "tart" cell and the "L.E." cell, Proc.
